Personal Development Goals Power Hour

I am sure by now you have read that in most cases people who are considered successful have always set personal development goals to get there. The success rate of people who do not set goals is actually quite dismal and you would think based on the stats everyone would be running out to learn how to set goals.
This isn't the case though and to this day the stats haven't changed much at all. With all the evidence pointing to goals being the doorway to your dreams I wonder why it hasn't caught on yet. I see the main reason being that goal setting is not unlike anything else that you haven't experienced before.
You don't know what to expect, how to do it or even where to start. I want to break down the process of setting goals into a simple one hour exercise. If you knew one hour could change your life wouldn't you invest the time? Sadly most won't.
But not you right? You are here to make a difference in your life. You can pat yourself on the back because you are now ready to break free of whatever has been holding you back from starting to set goals.
Do not be fooled by the simplicity of the exercises that you will do in the next hour. When applied properly they produce very powerful results in starting your goal setting adventure. Spend 10-15 minutes per exercise but do not feel rushed. You choose if this takes longer than an hour or not.
What you will need is 4 blank sheets of paper or better yet a journal so you can keep all the information together in one place. Maybe grab some tea, your favorite music and a few pens. If you are technologically inclined you will just need a laptop.
Step 1: Core Values
In order to determine what your core values are I need you to answer this question:
What is truly important to you in life?
There are so many possible answers that a good idea is to search core value examples on the internet to give yourself a multitude of options to help articulate what you are feeling. It is usually best to keep it to one to two words like success, love, health, security, intimacy, etc.
The list can be as long as you like but in general you will want to narrow it down to the top 10. This allows you to really focus your time and energy on those specific values that mean the most to you. Your core values make you who you are and determine the actions you take in life.
Once you have your list prioritize it in descending order. If you find this difficult just think to yourself "If I could only fill the needs of one of my values, which one would I choose. Basically if you had success and health as your values decide if you would work an extra hour at your job or use that extra hour to exercise. Whichever one you choose gets the higher priority.
Step 2: Personal Development Goals
Now is the time you get to dream about what you want to create in life and who you want to be. This is where you get to practice limitless thinking and write goals that excite and scare you.
To make this exercise effective you will need to let go of what you believe people want you to be and only write down what you really want to be. If that looks nothing like the life you are living now do not be afraid to write that. If you are a high level executive in New York and all you want to do is paint in Paris then write that you want to be in Paris living an artist's life.
This is a time when being completely selfish is perfectly fine. Think big and dream even bigger.
Step 3: Doc Says you're Dying
In the previous exercise you got to list everything you really want to do in life but most people tend to push those goals too far into the future. Then what happens is you never really commit to taking on those goals.
People always have a shift in their perception of time when they hear the news that they only have a year to live. There are miracles that happen but let's say you only have a year.
Now write down everything you would want to accomplish before that year is up. These do not have to be world changing goals like solve world hunger, just the goals that would allow you to leave this world with zero regrets.
The purpose of this exercise is not to scare you into running around trying to accomplish all your goals at once but to simply remind you of how precious life is. We need to spend each day like it was our last to avoid letting ten years slip by and regretting what we didn't do. This also allows you to prioritize your goals and discover what is truly important to you.
Step 4: Define and Refine
Now is the time to take all of the goals you have written and turn them into 1, 5 and 10 year goals. Be as specific as possible when writing them out and write them in the present tense, with a deadline and include the steps you will need to take to achieve them.
If this is you first try at setting personal development goals do not beat yourself up if you found you spent more than an hour to complete this. Goal setting is not a onetime task and you will be doing it for the rest of your life if you choose to. The most important part is that you are in action starting right now.

The C in this case, is believed to stand for the word colour, it is thought that the iPhone 5C, will be available in a multitude of colours. The iPhone 5C could be the first budget iPhone and with Apple CEO Tim Cook announcement last week "From a growth point of view for Apple, our key catalyst will always be new products and new services." I believe exciting times are ahead. We wait with baited breath.

Differences Between PPC, PPV, CPV, CPA, PPA

PPC, PPV, CPV, CPA and PPA are various advertising means used in online marketing. They are used to drive traffic websites, landing pages or any online platform that could be used for business purposes.
Before we go into the differences, it is a good idea to know their definitions. Knowing what they mean and their characteristics will clearly point out major differences among them. Here are the abbreviations in full:

PPV - Pay per View & CPV - Cost per View
8. Both PPV and CPV mean the same thing; it is the amount one would be charged for any view to an ad regardless of any click made on it or not.
9. It is normally charged in groups of views, e.g. $0.30 per 1000 views and so on.
10. It would therefore prove to be quite cheap and effective if you were to get targeted traffic from it.
11. It can however be very expensive if your ad would have many views but less action.

CPA - Cost per Action and PPA - Pay Per Action
14. Both CPA and PPA mean the same thing. It is the amount charged or paid for every intended action done successfully. For instance joining an online program, filling a form, etc.
15. I find it similar to affiliate marketing only that the later is broader compared to CPA. Secondly, CPA targets long-term business relationships while affiliate marketing might not.
16. PPA is very costly compared to the others in this article but attracts great business value wherever it is involved.
17. In this type of ad, an action must be completed as required in order to be charged or paid.

7 Self-Reflection Questions for Personal Development Goals

We all have a dream that we want to experience but it can remain hidden without asking ourselves some self-reflection questions. If you are staring at your computer screen thinking to yourself "I don't have a dream or what questions" do not worry. We will go over some great questions in order to help you with your personal development goals.
1. What one personal development goal if achieved tomorrow would give you the greatest feeling of success?
By discovering which goal is most important to us we can better focus our energy and time on what means the most to us. This does not mean we sacrifice the rest of life to get that goal but by being clear on what is most important to us we make better decisions. If you do not find the answer to this question your life goals will not align with your true purpose. Your intentions will not attract the individuals and circumstances needed to make your dreams come true.
2. Are these your goals or someone else's?
Are you living into what you believe is a predetermined future for yourself? If your parents, grandparents and siblings are all lawyers do you feel obligated to be the same even though you dislike the profession?
You are not anyone but who you are and you need to determine your goals based on that fact in order to live your dream life. A life lived through others expectations, is a life that is filled with regret and what could have been.
You do not have to feel selfish for pursuing your own dreams and not the dreams others have for you. You have the right to listen to your heart and follow what you believe is your destiny.
3. Are you passionate about your vision of life?
If you are not waking up excited to live the day then chances are you do not have personal development goals that you are passionate about. People who are passionate about their lives do not want to go to bed at night because they love being awake. They live such fulfilling lives that they cannot wait to wake up and do it again.
If you just can't wait until its bedtime so you can finally end the day you need to identify what you are passionate about. What could you wake up to tomorrow that would make you throw off the covers and practically run out the door? Your real goals will give you energy you never knew existed.
4. Do you understand what success feels like?
Success has a million different definitions and every one of those only applies to the person who is saying it. Success is a feeling we get inside and not our materialistic belongings.
Take time to reflect on what you consider to be past successes. Do not think of the achievement you got in terms of tangible rewards but try to express how you felt in that situation. Was it exhilarating and mind-blowing or were you just slightly happy.
Real goals make you feel like you are on top of the world. Internet marketers always say that their first $100 online is more memorable than their next $100,000. The reason is because that $100 made them feel true success inside. They actually did what they set out to do and it matched what they wanted it to feel like.
Spend the time needed to determine your definition of success. What will life look like, who will you be and what will it take to get there. Most importantly what do you expect to feel when you arrive at your dream destination?
5. What are the daily habits you can create to achieve your goals?
Successful people have successful habits. They didn't just stumble upon those habits but through taking one step each day towards their personal development goals they developed them. By setting up daily routines that push you towards your goals you can create habits.
Most habits are always on autopilot which puts your success on autopilot. If you were in the habit of exercising 30 minutes every day in some form or another I am guessing you would be in fairly good shape. At first you may have to force yourself to go but before long you would wake up and consider doing nothing but go exercise.
This applies to every goal you have. Set up a plan on how to take small daily steps, they turn into habits and before you know it your goal is accomplished.
6. Are you telling yourself: "I can't achieve these goals?
Most people don't believe they can actually achieve the goals they set. They do a good job of writing their goals and planning the steps they need to take but the whole time they tell themselves inside that it won't happen. So it doesn't.
If your belief system is telling you to forget it this isn't going to happen you will need to discover where those beliefs come from. Maybe you don't believe following your passion will pay the bills or that you can't be rich because your parents are poor. You could have been hurt by someone so you believe you can't be loved. I cannot stress enough the importance of having a positive self-belief system.
You can, you will and you deserve to be.
7. Are you afraid of success?
You thought fear of failure was bad. Can you imagine the fact that some people are more afraid of being successful then failing? If they never get to be successful they can blame their failures but when they achieve success they only see one way to go and that is down.
Instead of going after their goals fully they essentially self-sabotage themselves by creating situations where they get fired, make people mad at them or anything that would give them an excuse as to why success wasn't possible. Then they are like "Whew, I almost became more than I already am, dodged that bullet."
Look at success as something you achieve and then do again, over and over. There is no going backwards just in a different direction.
I understand change is scary but I find it even scarier to think that all I am right now is all I ever will be. You deserve to live the life of your dreams so go out there and crush those personal development goals.

The Secret of Succeeding With Email Marketing

Email marketing is a valuable tool utilized by internet marketers everywhere. If you're just starting out with email marketing, here are some tips to help you along the way.
1. First, know your purpose. Why are you sending out emails? Is it to get sales, generate leads, build relationships or increase traffic to your website? If you don't have a goal, you're doomed to fail. When you know the goals you are trying to achieve, you have the necessary information to construct your emails to get the desired results.
2. Create interest. Get your subscribers excited about what you're offering. This is especially important if you're trying to get sales, generate leads or increase traffic to a website. Boring emails get deleted.
3. Send to the right audience. If you send emails targeted to a specific group of people, you'll get results. Know your audience and email them things they care about. For example, don't send emails about lipstick to men, send it to women!
4. Always answer this question - what's in it for me? People won't care about your emails unless you tell them why they should. What is so great about what you're sending them? What can your product or information do for them? These are questions that you need to answer.
5. K.I.S.S. or Keep It Simple Stupid. Don't overwhelm your subscribers with lengthy emails. A lengthy email may never get read because people just don't have the time. Keep your emails short, sweet and to the point.
6. Don't go over 40-60 characters in width. When your email goes over that amount of characters, it will sometimes cause that scrolling bar at the bottom of the page. People don't want to have to waste time scrolling over to read the rest of your email. People like to read from top to bottom, not across.
7. Call to action. Always, always, always include a call to action whether it's clicking on a link or buying a product.
8. Send out your emails in HTML and Plain Text. This is so very important because some email providers don't allow HTML emails. Imagine putting all that work into sending out an email that someone couldn't read.
9. Include an unsubscribe link. Don't forget this! Don't just forget to include it but make it easy to use. The last thing you want is for people to check your email as spam because they can't find or use the unsubscribe link.
10. Test it out. Test out your email before sending it to your entire email list. You want to make sure you didn't make any errors. If you have links in your email, test those.
11. Consider using an autoresponder if you aren't already. Autoresponders make email marketing very easy. You can set up emails to be sent out at a certain time every day, every other day or every week. There are a lot of options to choose from that make sending out emails a breeze. If you aren't already utilizing autoresponder, I strongly urge you to sign up for one today.
12. Remove bad email addresses. When you get notification that an email address is no longer active, update your list. Don't waste your time sending to people who aren't getting your emails.
13. Send often. Once you've compiled your email list, send often to ensure that your subscribers don't forget you. How often you send is up to you but you want to stay fresh in their minds so keep that in mind when planning.

There are tons of affiliate programs on the internet and one of the most popular ones is the Amazon affiliate program. However, a lot of people are very reluctant to promote Amazon products because commission payout is a small percentage.
Yet, on the other hand there are actually many people that are earning a full time income just by promoting Amazon products.
So what are the advantages of being an Amazon affiliate? Can you actually make a lot of money with Amazon?
Amazon products are perfect to promote because they sell themselves. Most of their products are highly sought after and a lot of the customers have already decided to buy the product, they just need you to send them there!
But what about the low commission rate?
Yes Amazon does have a low commission rate but it gets a little higher as the number of sales you make increases. Ultimately if you can promote pricier products then you are very likely to earn higher commissions.
But here's the thing... Even if you are promoting lower priced products you can still sell higher price products.
For instance, I have a website set up that promotes a diet book through Amazon. That simple book sells for around $10 and only gives me roughly 60 cents of commission per sale. So why would I sell such a low commission product?

You pretty much can let it run on autopilot month after month.
Super affiliates test their campaigns to the point of efficiency. Everything is tracked on the keywords. It is best to use only one keyword per ad. For every keyword, write a different ad.
#4. Other PPC Networks
First start testing using Google AdWords. Use no content network or partner networks. You want to see how your traffic converts on Google. Once you are making money, then go to another partner network.
Try your campaigns on Yahoo/Bing! Search Marketing and MSM Ad Center. This is only after you have a profitable campaign through Google.
If you want to try your hand at the content network then please, go for it! Content network traffic is least targeted and converts rather badly.

Is It Still Possible To Make Money On eBay?

That's one question often asked by people who are either just starting out on eBay or used to sell and quite selling.
The answer is a little difficult. You can still make money selling on eBay. It's just not as easy as it once was. You used to be able to list something and often, you'd be shocked at what price it brought. When it was first started back in 1995, the founder sold a broken laser pointer for almost $15! Since then, the amount of listings and sellers has skyrocketed and eBay is one of the great American success stories.
These days, eBay has anyone and everyone buying and selling. Major corporations use eBay as a liquidation center to move old inventory. Professional refurbishers, buy and refurbish items then resell them for a fraction of retail. The amount of sellers have grown tremendously. The only problem is when everyone is selling the same things (search iPad and you'll get well over 100,000 in different categories) what makes you stand out?
I've used several different methods of selling on eBay over the years and all were profitable. Some a little more than others.
1) Wholesale Dropshipping - I ran this very smoothly. My lifetime membership to Worldwide gave me several sources for dropshipping products. I setup an eBay store and went to work. It was running around $5000 per month in sales using just one of their dropshippers. The problem was the profit margin for consumer electronics wasn't much. While I could still sell for less than any of your local retailers, I was only clearing about $500 per month and was having trouble getting past $5000 per month. It's tough to sell when you're competing against 1000s of other sellers for the same buyers.
2) Selling Others People's Stuff - I did this again with an eBay store but using a local furniture company. They had a massive warehouse and tons of inventory. Everything from exotic furniture to marble statuary. Shipping was a pain in the butt! Folks want to buy that lifesize hippo (yes, I said hippo). Never sold one but came damn close a few times! This method still has a nice profit margin and I'm probably going to go back to experimenting with it now that I see Uship has simplified the shipping process for unusual items.
3) Making What You Sell - I'm just now starting to experiment with this one. I've always loved the look of old signage and magazine covers. I just started combining the two and recreating old magazine covers on wood panels. Sold a couple and the margins are quite nice. If you can make something, try selling it on eBay. You may be surprised.
4) Information publishing - This is probably the most profitable way to earn money on eBay. Make just about any "How To" book and sell it. If you use a digital download book, it doesn't cost you anything to create it and its incredibly profitable. There are tons of eBook sellers on eBay.
5) Selling Used Stuff - This is the simplest way to get started in my opinion. People look on eBay mainly for a deal on something. If you've picked up a used iPad that you found on Craigslist or somewhere else, you can usually sell it for a lot higher profit than the guys selling the new ones. Since the market for iPads is so large, selling it won't be a problem. I still think selling used stuff is the way to go for any beginner.
The key to selling anything on eBay for a tidy profit comes down to tools and research. If you know what it sells for and you know what your costs to sell it are, you already know your profit when you buy it.
