How Do You Really Make Money With ClickBank Affiliate Programs?

So, how do you really make money with ClickBank affiliate programs? That is the question that many beginner affiliate marketers are likely to be asking themselves after finding it has not been as easy going as they first thought.
Many information products and training courses make it sound super quick and easy to make money with ClickBank. But it is not always that way, and consistency and understanding the basic fundamentals is required.
In this article we will look at a number of the key aspects for how to make money with ClickBank, as well as revealing a simple change that can take your affiliate marketing to the next level:
1. Build An Email List - Make sure that you are building an email list around your marketing campaigns. Most people will not buy at the first look at a sales page and thus it is important to follow-up and provide more information via email to increase conversions.
Also, with email you can promote a variety of different ClickBank products to your subscribers in the future. This increases the chances that you will give each subscriber at least one item that they are interested in buying.
2. ClickBank Bonuses - A problem with promoting products in the "make money online" and "affiliate marketing" niche is that much of your target audience are already marketers and if they like the product that you are promoting then they will just go and buy it with their own affiliate link and you won't get any credit for referring them to it.
But if you offer a bonus package that you will give customers if they buy through your affiliate link then you can capture much more of the sales yourself.
3. Highest Paying ClickBank Products - Many people struggle to make money with ClickBank affiliate programs because they promote low paying products.
If you are paying for advertising then it is going to be hard to recoup your costs when you are just earning $25 per sale of a product. Where as if you are earning $100 per sale then you are more likely to break even on the front end.
You can re-order the list of affiliate programs in the ClickBank marketplace by the average lifetime customer value to see which are the most lucrative offers to promote.
Hopefully the above pointers will get you on track and help you understand how to really make money with ClickBank affiliate marketing.

How to Make Money from Online Surveys

I am known for my articles about making money from home and one question that I am frequently asked is “Can I really make money by participating online surveys?”

The answer is definitely yes; firstly you need to understand why companies are
willing to pay you for your opinion on a couple of products. Big brand companies have massive budgets for research and development and they need to ensure they create the products that people want in order to do that they need to engage opinion of their target demographic.

Due to the current economic climate a lot of people are looking for ways to supplement their income and online surveys are probably one of the easiest ways to make money. Although, participating in surveys is an easy task you still need to be careful, because there are a lot of con artists running scams just trying to get your details for nothing in return.  There are a couple of reputable global companies that I know of and I will list their pros and cons.

The process of joining a survey site is very simple, usually you go to their website fill in their application forms and wait for them to contact you by email. Please note that once you are a member of a survey site, they will start to send you a lot of emails about surveys, vouchers etc for this reason you might not want to give your main email. Also, not everyone fits the target demographic for survey companies they will normally filter you out during the application stage.

Globaltestmarket.com – Is a global market research company that awards you points for taking part in surveys. The payment threshold is 1000 points, which at the time of writing is $50. Surveys normally take about 20 minutes and on average members get about $2 dollars a survey.

Toluna.com – with Toluna you can get paid for your participation in surveys, polls and asking the community questions. Surveys take around 20 minutes and they are rewarded with 3,000 to 5,000 points. The payout threshold is 80,000 points, which is around $25 dollars. Points can also be redeemed for all kinds new gadgets, getaways, prize draw tickets, vouchers for a large selection of stores including Amazon and cash.

Ciao.com – although Ciao is not a survey site I thought it at least deserves a mention. With Ciao you get paid for writing product reviews and the more views you get on your review the more you get paid.  Ciao have a strong presence in Europe; the rate you get paid varies on your status within the Ciao community. Reviews are worth 0.5p per rating, 1p per rating or 2p per rating and you earn more if you write a first review of a product or very high quality reviews. You can invite friends and earn a commission equal to 50% of your friend's earnings for the first six months of their membership. Once you've reached £5 or more you can request a payout into your bank account.

All of the survey sites I have listed will help you to make money, but they won't help you to make a living. A good friend recently introduced me to getcashforsurveys.com, they show you step by step how you can participate in numerous surveys and give you everything you need to turn filling in surveys into a business.

15 Affiliate Program Tips

When I was first introduced to online marketing, affiliate programs was the bait that got me hooked. I was amazed at how people make $90,000 per month with minimal effort. It was the easiest way to make residual income I ever heard of in my life. Like other starters, I looked forward to making hefty income with only a few referrals a month. If you are in such a state, or think of this, you were not told everything.
Learning the hard way, which includes time and money, I came to learn that making casino jackpot income wasn't as easy as I heard and had to get some things in place first. Here they are:
Choosing an affiliate program
Choosing the right program is the first step to being closer to making it in affiliate marketing. Here are some tips:
1. Get the niche right. Choose a niche that is related to your online activities, your blogs, etc. No one would be interested in a product or service that has no relations to why they are there.
2. Once you get a niche, look for affiliate programs that exist within that niche and list them down.
3. Look at the commissions they pay. This is why you chose to refer others and get paid. You should target programs that pay not less than 20% commission. It can be as high as 100% but not less than 20.
4. The only reason that would make me accept commissions less than 20% would be the price of the product. If it is more than $300.
5. Look for programs that offer a line of products so that you could earn when your referrals came to buy other products.
6. You would also want to consider the number of tiers you would get in earning commissions. I go for programs that have 2-3 tier commission structures.
7. Customer support is something I would not go without. You wouldn't want to wait for days just to have solutions that are beyond your reach. Customer support should run 24hrs.
8. Do the programs offer any marketing support? Most of them have pre-written letters, banners, marketing courses, etc, to help their marketers. If this is missing, you will need to be a good marketer.
Affiliate marketing tips
Once you carry out these steps, all you need to do now is to find out how you will send referrals to the links and make money. Here are some tips:
9. Link the products you are promoting inside the contents of your website.
10. Make sure all the product images on your site are clickable and has your affiliate link
11. Product reviews are the best. They have most conversion rates. Make sure you have some on your website.
12. Build a mailing list. It will give you most income. "Money is in the list" - so they say.
13. Holidays are best times for promos. Make use of them and boost your sales.
14. Have an array of products on your site. This increases your chances of making multiple sales of income.
15. Go for inexpensive products but target selling a high quantity of them. This will boost your payout.

Working From Home - 5 Steps How To Stay Motivated and Productive

There are numerous benefits of working from home, such as no hectic commute and no transport costs, but sometimes these benefits can be outweighed by the disadvantages. There have been two periods in my life where I have worked from home on a continuous basis. The first period was about five years ago, were several factors disrupted my productivity. In my second period of home employment, I felt like I had really learnt from my previous experience and I would like to share these observations.

1. Have a routine, try to get up and start work at the same time everyday, give yourself fixed hours of work and breaks just like you would in the office. A typical work routine could be:

Start work at 9:30 a.m., have a ten-minute break at 11:00 a.m., then work from 11:10 a.m. to midday. Take a lunch break for one hour, start work again at 1:00 p.m. till 3:00 p.m., then have your second ten-minute break and by 4:30 p.m. bring your work to a close.

Use alarms to help you enforce this strict routine. Make sure you get away from the computer and do some exercise during your breaks. Having a routine will help minimise distractions such as taking too many coffee breaks, because once that happens it is surprising how quickly you can get behind in your work.

You may want to work shorter hours than the example above, that's fine at the end of the day you should tweak your routine to suit you.

2. Get out of your pyjamas and have a wash, it's very common when working from home to get straight out of bed and jump on to the computer, but if you do that there is a chance that you won't get your mind into work mode. Having a wash and changing into your work clothes will make you feel more alert and prepare you for the work ahead.

3. Get yourself a decent office chair and desk to work on; when I first started working from home I used to work on the sofa with my laptop, but I found that sometimes I would fall asleep when I was meant to be working. I guess the sofa was just too relaxing.

4. Keep the television off, unless your work is influenced by the news. For instance, if you trade stocks and shares you will need access to the news, but have it on as low ambient noise.

5. The number one distraction for me when I work from home is family, this might not be the case for you, but if it is let them know from the outset that although you are at home they can't interrupt your work when they feel like it. Let them know that you have regular breaks and they can contact you during these periods. They should only break this rule in matters of extreme importance. The saying out of sight, out of mind is true try to find a quiet bedroom or spare room to conduct your work. If you live in a noisy household get your noise cancelling headphones ready so you can get into the work zone.

Some Unusual Ways to Generate Passive Income When You Don't Have Anything To Invest

People often think that passive income is only possible if you have a decent amount of money to invest on an existing business and take the share from profits. Thus the concept is limited to those who're ready to invest some cash and make profit out of it. But today, with the rise of online businesses, it's possible for anyone to setup a powerful passive income stream and make money online without spending a dime! However, you definitely need something to invest - skills, dedication and time! Here, you will discover some unusual methods to generate passive income without having anything to invest.
Ways to generate passive income without investing a penny: is it really possible
You might have come across thousands of websites, companies online that tell you about making passive income. But almost each of these needs you to spend something as a startup cost. But if you know what you're doing, you don't even have to worry about some savings to be spent for making money online now. Let's discover the methods here:
#1 Sharing links
There are several websites that pay the publishers for sharing links. If you know how to spread the links everywhere online, you can start sharing links and earn whenever someone clicks the URL you've shared. This won't make you a lot of money, but once you have got thousands of live links online, you can certainly expect $10 to $20 a day, doing nothing. To start making money from such advertising revenue, you need to sign up on such websites and prepare your campaign properly. Once done, you can start making money almost instantly. The more links you share, the more you earn - that's how the concept works!
#2 Uploading videos
Uploading videos is another method how you can make a decent amount of money online. This amount you make is also related to the number of views you're generating to these videos. There are hundreds of websites that let you upload your videos and share the revenues whenever someone views your video. If you have a blog or a website, you can easily drive traffic to these videos and make money whenever someone is watching it. You can also make some money as an affiliate from such website. You will make money as an affiliate whenever someone purchases a subscription on these websites.
#3 Locking links
This is another money making method from which you can literally earn thousands each month. If you know how to drive traffic and engage them to some actions, you will be able to create a stable, decent passive income stream. There are certain websites that let you use their link locker system and make money from the offers tied with the locks. Usually this refers to CPA (cost per action), but the concept here is simpler and you can start making money without almost any website!
These methods are very popular, but not many experts use these. So these could great for a newbie or someone who'd love to make some experiments. No matter what you do, you will establish a passive income stream quickly. All these methods mostly refer to one-off work and once you've done the homework, you will keep generating cash for a long time.

Can A Retired Person Work From Home?

Working from the home is a dream that many people have. When someone is younger, they want to work from the home for the freedom it brings to be with their family. When someone is older, that same desire for freedom is there. There is an additional twist. When someone is older, working from the home may be the only thing he or she is capable of doing. It may no longer be possible to work an 8 - 5 routine on a regular basis. And, it may be entirely necessary to find additional income because a partner has died, social security is not enough to live on, or the value of investments has been reduced.
What are some of the obstacles to an older person to finding work from home? One obstacle is that of technology. The younger generation is into cell phones and iPads. Internet businesses are springing up all over. Blogging is a natural and normal thing to do in today's world, as is having a Facebook page or Tweeting on Twitter. There are all sorts of other social media networks as well. But what about the older person who was raised without all that technology? It can be intimidating, and downright disheartening to them to think of attempting to learn it all. An older, retired person simply may not have the skills to work with all these new technologies. That makes it very difficult to find something suitable from the home.
Then there is the issue of networking. While there are companies out there, network marketing companies, that say that virtually "anyone can do this", the fact is, the average over sixty person does not want to spend his or her days going to friends and family pushing some sort of vitamin, cream, or lotion. It is a rare older person who wants to network to the degree that is required in network marketing.
Then there is the feasibility of whatever activity is involved. An older person may not have the strength or coordination of younger years, so that fact has to be taken into consideration. Is whatever the work-at-home opportunity is, something that can be done by the individual himself or herself? By sixty and above, some people have health issues so whatever is required needs to be flexible enough to accommodate those situations.
Finally, there is the cost. It has to be affordable for those who are on social security. Many retirees live off of social security as a major form of income Does the opportunity fall within the financial range of what the retiree can do?
If a retired person can overcome all of these obstacles, he or she has a good chance of making a viable living online. Yes, it is possible, but it requires effort and discernment to find the right opportunity. If the retired person can make it past the obstacle course presented to senior citizens, then yes, it is possible to work from home.

ClickBank Affiliate Marketing System

So far as affiliate marketing networking programs go, ClickBank.com is arguably the number one online network out there, and rightly so. Clickbank has existed for over 14 years and during that time period has paid over $2.3 Billion to their clients - both the sellers as well as the affiliate marketers. That simple fact in itself is definitely proof to the strength, potential and success of the ClickBank.com online affiliate marketing network. Let's explore a few other amazing benefits.

ClickBank.com offers a vast number of online digital solutions in it's Marketplace. As a ClickBank affiliate, you have an almost endless variety of products and solutions you can select from. And actually there's no limitation on the actual number of items that you can market.

For instance if you have an interest in health and fitness and you discovered an excellent guide sold via the Clickbank online affiliate marketing network system that you really wanted to tell others about. It would be to your advantage to sign up for a cost-free Clickbank internet affiliate account. Next, you look for the health and wellness ebook in the ClickBank website Marketplace, and obtain your unique internet affiliate marketer link (HopLink). Next you create a product review about the e-book on your very own blog, and / or put up an endorsement on Facebook.com and also in your preferred health message board. If folks read through the product review or blog post, click on your clickbank affiliate link, and end up purchasing the product, you're going to get paid a percentage of the sale. You can then find yet another product or solution in your niche of interest, for instance something about exercising at the workplace, and simply replicate the strategy of sharing and earning even more commissions!

But say, like most ClickBank affiliates, you really don't have a passion for anything more than making money. That's a perfectly fine approach to working with ClickBank. Their MarketPlace provides the affiliate with tons of relevant statistics and information to help them make an educated decision on which products to promote. For example, if you had a blog with an extensive mailing list where you kept in contact with your followers. As an affiliate you might be interested in a product that has a high rebill percentage. Whatever information you need on the product, you can find it in the ClickBank Marketplace.

Yet another fantastic highlight of the ClickBank affiliate network system is how simple and easy it is to use. Sign up is a breeze - just complete a simple form and immediately get a confirmation from the ClickBank network. As an affiliate marketer, you will get your personal affiliate homepage, where you're going to get access to in-depth sales statistics. Payments are biweekly and just after you've received two checks, you are qualified to receive direct bank deposit. Also you do not have to sign any individual contracts with the merchants, ClickBank already arranged that to simplify things.

As a ClickBank.com internet affiliate marketer it's possible to work from virtually any place in the world. Believe it or not, you can also promote digital products in Spanish, German and French. ClickBank.com also accepts 13 types of foreign currency.

Considering sustainability, big payouts, convenience as well as world wide reach, the ClickBank.com internet affiliate marketer program is without a doubt something that you'd want to look into if you are contemplating becoming an online affiliate marketer.

Amazon Affiliate Marketing Secrets Revealed

Looking for Amazon affiliate marketing tips? I'm about to be very honest with you. I don't know much about Amazon affiliate marketing. I know, I know, I'm supposed to be the expert. Well let me tell you why being an Amazon affiliate is only for those who know and understand what it takes to be successful in internet marketing.

You need a couple of things to be great in internet marketing. You need traffic, you need a landing page, and you need sales. The best way to sell affiliate products is to have multiple opportunities to show your product to your potential customer.

So let's say you sell gardening tools using the easy affiliate program Amazon has set up.

Of course you could do a review of gardening tools and post reviews of certain tools on Google, YouTube, Squidoo and various other traffic sources. What you need however is a way to keep your prospects engaged.

If all your potential customers and viewers did was see your review they would say,"thanks for the info" and leave your page, never to return again. It's the truth.

You'll end up with cold leads who got what they wanted and left your page never to return again.

So you may have spent hours creating content and posting it but without following up you might as well kiss your commission from Amazon goodbye. Just so you know, following up is not enough. Your viewers needs a reason to "opt in" to your offer.

So if you had a small e-book titled "10 Gardening Secrets", then your prospect would most likely to buy from you instead of giving the Amazon commission to someone else.

Now why is that? Well if you did it right then who would have presented the most opportunities to buy the gardening tools you are offering? Who did they get to know and trust before buying?

The answer is you. If you did your job well, then you entertained, engaged, and informed your leads. They warmed up to you and were left with a good feeling, now knowing they are better informed.

They want to thank you for helping them feel better by paying you or buying from you. Does that make sense?

When I got started selling as an Amazon affiliate, I created a 50 page website about pregnancy pillows. On the left and right were ads provided by Amazon with my link on the sides. That was a ton of work. I made $5 from that after almost 1 year of page after page building.

If I continued for 5 years with my pregnancy pillow website, I may have made enough to cover the hosting cost of that website with Amazon commissions. This is not the way I recommend selling online.

The reason I don't recommend this method is because I didn't know any better and people landed on my page and left without me giving them something to help them decide on which pillow to buy.

So in conclusion if you are going to sell affiliate products, make sure you can get traffic, convert that traffic to a follow up list, and then monetize that traffic at the right stage. Speaking of monetizing, since Amazon only pays 4% commission make sure what you sell makes you a ton of money. This is probably my number one Amazon affiliate marketing tip I want to share with you.

How to Find Buyer Keywords for your Niche

There are two types of Search Engine Optimisation (S.E.O), on page and off page. Off page optimisation includes tactics, such as social media, forum posting, article posting and much more, but I will go into detail about off page optimisation in another post.  Right now I am going to concentrate on
keywords, which are one of the most important parts of on page optimisation.

When a person uses a search engine such as Google, they type the keyword(s) of what they are looking for in the search form and press the submit button. Then a list of relevant web pages should be returned to the user, but how does the search engine know these pages really are relevant? There are numerous rules that the search engines use to determine the relevancy of a web page, but one of the key factors is the usage of keywords on a page.

Many affiliates use a tactic like this they select a keyword that they want to rank for, and then they construct a page around this keyword. For example, someone might try to rank for the terms “running shoes” and they might be successful in gaining a good search engine position and loads of traffic, but they end up with low monetary reward, why?

The answer is they may understand SEO for keywords, but they don’t understand SEO for buyer keywords. In order to target buyer keywords you need to think about what a person is typing in a search engine when they are looking to buy a product. What a lot of affiliates do is target the keywords that people type while they are still in the research stage, hence the high traffic and low sales.
For instance, instead of creating content around the terms “running shoes” they should be using keywords like “best deals on running shoes”. These keywords are more likely to be typed at a point when a user is ready to buy and this is the stage that you want the search engines to suggest your website.

Buy, purchase and cheap are just a few examples of buyer keywords, for a list of the best 20 buyer keywords sign up for free membership to this blog and you will receive a total of 4 special free gifts including the essential e-book how to “7 Easy Ways to Make Money from Home”.

Exact Match Domains

Exact Match Domains (EMD's),  are domain names that contain specially targeted keywords, all with the purpose of gaining favour with the search engines. Historically EMD's were a powerful way to gain a high ranking in the search engines.

Google has 88% of the global search engine market and we should do our best to keep them happy. The Google search engine is powered by a deeply complex algorithm, which is continually changing. There was change on the 28th September 2012, which left many Internet marketers up the creek without a paddle. Until that day is was a common belief that Google favoured exact match domains over other domains. The update was called Exact Match Domain (EMD) and as the name suggest it affect poor quality websites that used exact match domains to rank highly on Google.

Overnight many websites went from the top 10 in Google with thousands customers too not being found in the top 100, playscrabble.net is just one example of this. Any website outside the top 100 likely to have low search engine traffic as a large percentage of people do not look past the first two pages. It is common knowledge that Internet marketeers rely heavily on having exact keywords in their domain names, but EDM update only affects exact domain match sites that have little all or poor quality content. All this means to us is that our web sites need to contain a good standard of content and then we will not be affected by EDM.
I have some general rules when choosing a domain name, which are listed below:

The domain name should be short and simple – the shorter the domain name is the easier it is to type and remember. There is less chance that a consumer will end up on another website instead of yours.

If the domain name consists of more than one word check that is does not create any unintentional words for example, www.whoreprensts.com, which is meant to who represents .com, but it can also be interpreted as whore presents .com. This misinterpretation can be quite embarrassing for a site owner and makes the website seem unprofessional.

The website in question at the time writing was actually for a firm of lawyers, how ironic. Be careful spend time looking for unintentional words in a domain name before you purchase it.

Register the domain at correct level – as we discussed earlier if your website is going to be trading internationally then go for the .com, .org, or .net domain. If you are targeting the local search market then go for the extension in that region, for example, in Canada go for.ca.

Check you are not infringing another persons or companies trademark. You can do this using a service such as www.namecheck.com.

Try to avoid hyphens – the primary reason why you should avoid using hyphens in a domain name is due to word of mouth. When people tell their friends about www.london-dog-training.com it is unlikely that they are going to remember it contains hyphens. This means that the site is going to loose a lot of traffic to the domain without the hyphens i.e. www.londondogtraining.com.

Secondly, domains with hyphens look less professional or trustworthy, as hyphens in the domain name are very common in spam sites. If you have hyphens in your domain name try not to have more than 2, then you won’t look like a spam site. Please bare in mind that there is no evidence that Google associates multiple hyphens with a spam site, this is just a common user opinion.

Contrary, to what some SEO gurus claim, search engines will not penalise a website for having hyphen’s in the domain name and is perfectly fine to use hyphens for a page name, as it improves the readability. This leads me on to my point the only time you should use hyphens is to improve readability of the domain name.

Google is not going to know the domain name expertsexchange is about expert sex change or experts exchange until it is told. With a domain name like expertsexchange it better to use hyphens for the sake of readability and clarity, www.experts-exchange.com.

Try to avoid using numbers – the reason for this similar to the hyphens you could loose traffic when you domain missed typed due to word of mouth. This especially true when a number is used to replace a written word such, as “to” or “for”.

How do I find a Domain Name

In this post I am going to show how to find a powerful domain name for your website.

Choosing a domain name is one of the most important parts of creating a money generating website.  At this point I am not going to make an assumptions, I am just going ahead and give you a definition of a domain name.

A domain name is a unique address that people type into an Internet browser into reach a particular website. The structure of the domain name is a series of alphanumeric characters, which are separated by periods. For the URL www.wikipedia.com the domain name is wikipedia.com. The domain name consists of two parts the main identifier wikipedia followed by the suffix .com, which indicates the Top Level Domain (TLD) the domain name belongs too.
One organisation in each case (called a registry), is in charge of all the domains that end with a particular TLD. In the UK the registry for .co.uk domains is called Nominet. There are many different TLD’s below is a list of some of the more popular ones:

·  com - commercial businesses (international markets)
·  gov - U.S. government agencies
·  edu - Educational institutions such as universities
. info -  domain is intended for informative Internet resources,
·  org - Organisations (mostly nonprofit)
·  net - Network organizations
·  ca  - Canada (country specific)
· co.uk- United Kingdom (country specific)
.mobi – used for mobile versions of websites

The com is the most common TLD and whenever possible will be trying to purchase domains the com suffix, because we want to sell our products globally and com domains are normally picked up international search engines. Also, the majority of people who are not Internet savvy will automatically assume that a domain name ends with ,com.

Believe me, there will be many occasions when it will not be possible to purchase the .com domain you require in that case you should go for the net extension if that is gone go for the org extension. If you want to rank on a local search engine for example, google.co.uk then purchase the extension for that country in this case co.uk extension.

When you choose a domain name there are two main techniques either you create a brand name which is un-intuitive, it does not really describe the product/service like yahoo.com or you can choose a domain name that contains the exact keywords that you would like to target, these are called Exact Match Domains (EMD), you can find out more about EMD's here.

Domain Name Prefixes and Suffixes

It is highly likely even after selecting some of the TLD extensions, that you are still not able to find a domain name that contains the keywords you require.

This a major problem and can cost you thousands of dollars to purchase the domain you require of the registered owner, but I can show you away around this. You can added a prefix or suffix to a domain name. For example, if you want to purchase a ".com" domain name with the keywords passive income you may find that passiveincome.com is already taken. What you could do is add a prefix such as your, my, get, buy, try or the, this would give you domain name suggestions like:

mypassiveincome.com
yourpassiveincome.com
trypassiveincome.com

If you were to use suffix such as hq, city, express, group, direct, net or home, you could end up with domain name suggestions like:

passiveincomehq.com
passiveincomedirect.com
passiveincomegroup.com
